The route itself varies by resort. Geneva to Verbier climbs through the Val de Bagnes, with a final stretch of switchbacks that reward an experienced local driver. Geneva to Zermatt is completed via Täsch, since Zermatt itself is car-free, and your chauffeur coordinates the final connection so your luggage transfers smoothly onto the shuttle train. Crans-Montana and Gstaad are reached by more direct alpine roads, both manageable in a single unhurried transfer of under two hours from Geneva or Lausanne.

Ski and snowboard equipment travel in a dedicated luggage compartment, separate from passenger bags, and winter tyres or snow chains are fitted as standard through the season, so weather on the pass roads is never a concern.

Return transfers at the end of a ski week are booked just as easily, with your chauffeur confirming pickup time the evening before, whether that means an early departure to catch a flight from Geneva or an evening drive back to Lausanne after a final day on the slopes.

During the Christmas and February school holiday periods, when demand for transfers rises sharply and mountain roads see significantly more traffic, we recommend booking several days in advance to guarantee your preferred pickup time. Outside these peak windows, most ski transfers can still be arranged with as little as a day's notice. Every driver assigned to alpine routes is experienced with winter mountain driving specifically, not simply licensed to drive in general conditions.
